Cookies, Security Technologies, Analytics and Consent
This Cookie Notice supplements the Ashmont Privacy Policy. It explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Ashmont website, why they are used, how long they last, and how you can give and withdraw your consent. Terms defined in the Privacy Policy have the same meaning here.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and software development kits, which perform comparable functions. In this Notice, all of these are referred to as “cookies”.
Cookies may be set by Ashmont’s website itself (first-party cookies) or by a third-party service used to operate, secure or measure the website (third-party cookies). They may last only for the duration of your browsing session (session cookies) or remain on your device for a defined period (persistent cookies).
Ashmont classifies the technologies used on its website into the categories below. Technologies in the categories identified as not requiring consent operate without consent.
3.1 Strictly Necessary — Webflow
Ashmont’s website is hosted and delivered through Webflow, which sets a small number of cookies necessary for the website to function, for hosting and content delivery to operate correctly, and for form submissions to be processed. These cookies do not track visitors across other websites and are not used for advertising.
3.2 Security and Anti-Abuse — Cloudflare Turnstile
Cloudflare Turnstile is deployed on the Contact Us form to distinguish legitimate human visitors from automated bots and to prevent spam and fraudulent submissions. Turnstile may set a token or identifier recording the outcome of the challenge for the duration of your session, and processes technical and behavioural signals including IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction and timing signals.
Turnstile is deployed as necessary security functionality. Ashmont does not use Turnstile signals for advertising, profiling or marketing purposes. Further detail on Cloudflare’s role and the signals processed is set out in Section 9 of the Ashmont Privacy Policy.
3.3 Analytics
Ashmont does not currently operate any analytics technology on its website. No analytics cookies or similar identifiers are set, and no website usage measurement is carried out.
If Ashmont introduces an analytics tool in future, it will be placed behind the consent mechanism described in Section 4, and this Cookie Notice will be updated in advance to identify the provider, the cookies or identifiers used, their duration and purpose, and any resulting transfer of personal data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
When you first visit the Ashmont website, a cookie banner is displayed. Until you make a choice:
— strictly necessary and security technologies operate, because they are required for the website to function safely and correctly; and
— no non-essential technology, including any analytics technology, is activated.
The banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential technologies. Your choice is recorded and applied on subsequent visits until you change it or the record expires.
Consent is given by a clear affirmative action. Continuing to browse the website, scrolling, or closing the banner without making a selection is not treated as consent to non-essential technologies.
You may control or withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies by deleting or blocking cookies through your browser settings, as described in Section 6.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent before it was withdrawn. Once withdrawn, the relevant technologies will no longer be activated on subsequent visits.
You may reject non-essential technologies without losing access to the ordinary public content of the Ashmont website. Pages, projects, images and Insights content remain available. Strictly necessary and security technologies will continue to operate because they are required for the website to function safely and correctly.

Ashmont does not use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking or remarketing technologies on its website, and does not sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.
If this changes, Ashmont will update this Cookie Notice and the Privacy Policy, and will implement the applicable consent controls, before or when such processing is introduced.
The Ashmont website contains links to external platforms, including Instagram and LinkedIn. When you visit those external platforms, they may use cookies and similar technologies subject to their own privacy and cookie practices, over which Ashmont has no control.
Ashmont may update this Cookie Notice to reflect changes in the technologies used on the website, the service providers engaged, applicable law or regulatory guidance. The current version is available on the Ashmont website and is identified by the Effective Date and Version shown above.
Most browsers allow you to view, delete and block cookies, and to be notified when a cookie is set. These controls are found in the privacy or security settings of your browser and operate independently of Ashmont’s cookie banner.
Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary cookies, may affect the operation of the website. In particular, it may prevent your cookie preferences from being remembered, in which case the banner will be displayed on each visit, and it may affect the correct operation of the Contact Us form.
